The Faith Friendly Charter
In January 2007 the concept of ‘faith friendliness’ was embraced by the Multifaith Chaplaincy at Flinders University and in February was developed by Prof Norman Habel of the Flinders School of Theology into a Charter.
In November 2009, Geoff Boyce, Coordinating Chaplain at Flinders University, gathered a working group to further develop the Charter:

On October 4, 2010 The Faith Friendly Charter was launched by Mr Hieu Van Le, Chairman of the South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission and Lieutenant Governor of South Australia at a Symposium conducted by the Multifaith Association of SA.
On October 14, 2010 the work of implementing the vision of the Charter was passed to the Multifaith Association of South Australia.

Faith Friendly Australia is supported by the chaplains at Oasis, Flinders University of South Australia.
